In today’s Tradingcup blog episode, I’m going to feature another best performing trader in the platform under the code name Weiii Xau.
Just by one glance, I can tell right away that he must be a Gold trader which we are going to find out later.
While I was searching, I came across his profile and noticed that he tripled his portfolio’s gains with impressive high win rate!
This is crazy!
After spotting him, I was so curious that I have to investigate further. Leave me hanging with questions like how did he achieved those gains?

Weiii Xau has grown his portfolio from a starting balance of $1,079 to $4,855.99. An estimated increase of 350.05%.
He performed a total of 288 trades across the following 18 trading instruments including:

Total Trades: 288
Loss trades: 16
Won trades: 268
Break Even trades: 4
Win rate: 93.05%
Average gain on wins: $15.02
Average loss on losses: -$15.54
Biggest Win: $268.00 (Gold)
Biggest Loss: -$69.82 (USDJPY)
Trade Direction: 103 Buys/Longs & 183 Sells/Shorts (51.51% of all his traders are buys/longs)
Best Performing Instrument: Gold ($3,520.53 Total Gross/Unrealized PnL)
Worst Performing Instrument: USDJPY (-$69.82 Total Gross/Unrealized PnL)
Fastest Trade: Less than a Minute (ETHUSD)
Longest Trade: Approximately 457 Days (NAS100)
Average Trading Volume: 0.02 Lot Size
Smallest Trading Volume: 0.01 Lot Size (Gold)
Largest Trading Volume: 1.00 Lot Size (Gold)
A well diversified choice of instruments!
This is a common knowledge in trading but it takes more efforts to run this strategy consistently.
In Weiii’s case, when I look at his recent closed trades, he has a high win rate above 90%.
Weiii’s starting balance is just $1,079 fit for a micro lot (0.01 lot size) and he prefers to trade 1 to 1 leverage to account size ratio.
Having no leverage at all gives good protection on his position’s margin. 94% of his past trades are unleveraged.
Trading with leverage has pros and cons.
Check out the following blogs below to know more about leverage in trading:

Since Weiii is trading a small account with no to minimal amount of leverage, he is comfortable to extend his positions for longer period of time thus giving a lot of room for his trade to go in his favor.
His longest trade was on NAS100, took 457 days to complete and still closed in a small profit. By having a small account size, he switched to position trading at ease without worrying of liquidation/margin call.
His first trade was on February 9, 2022.
Knowing that Weiii is more of a safe trader, when he got more confident he leveraged 17 of his recent trades with impressive results!
He even increased up to 1 lot size on 5 Gold trades that were all exited in profits.

For sure, Weiii strictly followed his trade plan with calculated risks. Having a 93.05% win rate is solid proof enough to support this claims.
Confidence is one of the many important psychological factors that can keep a trader from going.
Weiii is still actively trading to this day and his statistics may change over time.
At time of writing, here’s his current positions:

Also, he allows other traders to copytrade his strategy and got 3 copiers at the moment.
One of them is already having more than $30,000! Astounding!
